Since it was a late submission, I was trying to balance the goals of writing and article, and including props to as many previous posters to the PHP Advent. Since each of them was free-form, it was difficult (I think I got 19 out of 22—never saw 12/23 before finishing my article). In any case, the fact that it's more than 3 topics bothers me a lot.
